A conceptual design by Henning R. Nielsen, a 24 years old student in industrial design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, for a PLA thermo bottle in the year of 2015 – The year when producers and packaging associations expect prize stabilization of bioplastics. This biodegradable 0.4l plastic bottle has two tear-off spoons on the outer hard shell and is designed for people on the go, who prefer a liquid diet of soup or eat their favorite yogurt anywhere…

According to Henning, “the concept is part of a bigger system that is designed for the EXPO in Milan in 2015. The bottle will hold other substances then water, so there will be need for a spoon. Therefore I have integrated a tear-off spoon in the outer shell of the bottle.”

A revolution for the baby-food or pharmaceutical industry? Imagine this same bottle in a 0.2l format and you’ll just forget the times when you used to always look for the right doser which comes with your medicine. Now it is attached to the very bottle! Revolutionary!

By 2015, this concept will surely have found hundreds of implementations in our day to day life…
